About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Geography teacher to join our Humanities department and deliver engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. This maternity cover position runs until the end of the academic year, offering an exciting opportunity to inspire a love of Geography in young learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver creative, curriculum-aligned Geography lessons
  • Prepare students for GCSE exams, ensuring progress across all abilities
  • Use a variety of teaching strategies to engage and challenge students
  • Monitor and assess student achievement, providing clear feedback
  • Create a positive classroom environment with effective behaviour management
  • Support students with additional needs where required
What We\'re Looking For
  • Strong subject knowledge in Geography and passion for the Humanities
  • Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 Geography (including GCSE content)
  • Ability to bring real-world issues into lessons to enhance learning
  • Skilled in behaviour management and fostering student engagement
  • QTS or equivalent (preferred)
