Geography Teacher
Location: Hackney
Salary: £38,766 - £60,092 per annum
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Permanent

GSL Education London Branch is looking for a passionate and dedicated Geography Teacher to join a thriving coeducational secondary school and sixth form in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and educate students in a supportive and engaging environment. Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher:
  • Plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons that inspire students.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Encourage critical thinking and a love for geography.
  • Use a variety of teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
  • Participate in extracurricular activities and school events.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the geography curriculum.
Requirements for the Geography Teacher:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Qualified Geography Teacher with UK teaching experience.
  • A strong passion for geography and education.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to motivate and engage students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
