Salary: £29,344 £44,919 (depending on experience)

About the Role

An ambitious and inclusive secondary school in Milton Keynes is seeking an inspiring Geography Teacher to join their Humanities department from September 2025. The successful candidate will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, delivering creative lessons that engage students and broaden their understanding of the world around them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver high-quality Geography lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • Develop pupils knowledge of physical and human geography through engaging teaching methods
  • Differentiate lessons to support all learners, including SEN and EAL pupils
  • Track and monitor student progress, providing targeted support where needed
  • Contribute to the development of the Humanities curriculum and take part in school trips and fieldwork activities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular projects and enrichment opportunities
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching Geography at KS3 and KS4
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for Geography and the wider Humanities curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
