Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is assisting a Northampton secondary school in finding a Geography Teacher for a September 2026 start. The role is full-time with permanent or long-term contracts depending on experience, offering MPS/UPS salary depending on progression.

You will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 with KS5 opportunities, plan and assess lessons, and contribute to fieldwork and enrichment activities. ECTs are welcomed with induction and mentoring.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with QTS/QTLS or equivalent.
• Geography specialist with strong subject knowledge.
• ECTs welcome with full induction and mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Geography lessons across KS3 and KS4, with KS5 opportunities.
• Inspire curiosity about places, environments and global issues.
• Use innovative teaching to bring topics like climate change and urban change to life.
• Plan, assess and adapt lessons for learners of all abilities.
• Contribute to wider school life through enrichment activities and fieldwork.
