Job summary

Justteachers Ltd is recruiting a Geography Teacher for a full-time, long-term supply role in Sheffield starting September 2026, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff.

You will plan and deliver engaging Geography lessons for KS3–KS4, assess progress with data, foster a curious learning environment, and contribute to curriculum development while maintaining high behaviour standards in a supportive school.

Qualifications

• Qualified to teach Geography at secondary level (PGCE/QTS or equivalent).
• Experience teaching Geography at a secondary level.
• Strong subject knowledge of the Geography curriculum.
• Two recent education references.
• Enhanced DBS via update service (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Geography lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Assess, track, and monitor student progress using data.
• Create an inclusive, stimulating classroom environment.
• Contribute to departmental planning and curriculum development.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom organisation.
