Geography Teacher / Geography ECT | Outstanding Secondary School | Bexley

In the heart of Bexley, an 'Outstanding' Secondary School is seeking a Geography Teacher / Geography ECT for a September 2025 start. This is a permanent, full-time position.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Geography Teacher / Geography ECT eager to contribute to an expanding Secondary Department. The school is renowned for its supportive SLT and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

Experienced Secondary Teachers can take on TLR roles such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibilities, and more. Newly Qualified Secondary Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled in the school's bespoke ECT induction program and will have opportunities to work alongside both young and experienced Secondary Teachers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

1. Must have UK QTS or be in the process of obtaining it
2. Strong academic background: Degree, A Levels, GCSEs
3. Must meet the 8 Teaching Standards at a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' level
4. Ability to work effectively within a large team of Secondary Teachers
5. Willingness to receive and incorporate feedback
