Applications are invited from talented, enthusiastic, and dynamic Geography Teachers to teach Year 7 & Year 8.
Our school is part of a flourishing, family-run group of independent, co-educational day schools offering a broad and innovative curriculum with high academic standards.

Key Areas of Responsibility

1. Work with the DH Academic to develop a Geography curriculum that promotes pupil progress
2. Plan for differentiation, considering all abilities and vulnerabilities, and adapt planning and teaching accordingly
3. Maintain good pupil behaviour and learning attitudes to ensure effective teaching and learning
4. Develop and review the Geography Action Plan, undertake appropriate CPD, and update the Geography Self-Evaluation Form
5. Participate in the annual Geography Review with the DH Academic to assess curriculum effectiveness against the school’s values, vision, and aims
6. Take on additional responsibilities when appropriate, such as a Form Tutor role

Qualifications and Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status with a relevant degree in Geography
• Experience and genuine understanding of KS3
• Outstanding classroom practice with high standards of teaching and learning
• Knowledge of the ISI inspection framework and Independent Standards, maintaining an extensive portfolio of evidence
