Are you a talented and motivated Geography Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity? This exceptional Secondary School is seeking an enthusiastic, ambitious, and creative Geography Teacher to join our successful Humanities department from September 2024. We welcome applications from both ECTs and experienced teachers.

The Role – Geography Teacher
  • Teach Geography to secondary students of varying ages and abilities
  • Plan and prepare lessons suitable for different abilities, including students with special educational needs
  • Teach within the department and possibly across the 11-16 range
  • Follow the department/Faculty scheme of work
  • Assist in resource preparation and scheme of work development
  • Prepare coursework for moderation when needed
  • Salary: Outer London MPS/UPS
Person Specification - Geography Teacher
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Relevant training and experience in the subject
  • Good understanding of the National Curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • Proven success as a classroom teacher or in teaching practice (for ECTs)
  • Commitment to active participation in school life
  • Proficiency with relevant equipment/technology
  • Ability to relate well to children and adults
  • Friendly, professional, and respectful approach
