Job summary

Wetherby Pembridge, the premium senior school in London, seeks an outstanding Geography teacher to join January 2027. You will deliver a full timetable of Humanities with Geography from Year 9 upwards, collaborate with the SENDCo, and contribute to a rich co-curricular program as part of Inspired Education's premier London campus.

The ideal candidate will hold a PGCE or QTS, a Bachelor's degree, and have proven experience delivering Geography to high standards, including A Level.

Qualifications

• PGCE or QTS or equivalent with strong academic credentials.
• Significant experience delivering outstanding Geography provision in a high‑performing school.
• Ability to teach Geography to A Level.

Responsibilities

• Teaching a full timetable allocation, covering a generalist Humanities curriculum in Years 7-8 and Geography from Year 9 upwards.
• Planning, preparing and delivering excellent lessons, including working with the SENDCo to support candidates with additional needs.
• Promoting the study of Humanities throughout the school.
• Attending and contributing to regular departmental meetings.
• Leading super‑curricular Provision within the Humanities and fostering a culture of regular engagement.
• Liaising with SLT and others to support Community Partnership opportunities.
• Opportunities may exist for additional responsibilities such as coaching Games or pastoral duties.
