Job summary

St Margaret’s School invites applications for a part-time Geography teacher. Candidates should be GTCS registered or eligible. Shortlisted teachers will teach a lesson observed as part of the process.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain schemes of work.
• Prepare pupils for internal and external assessment.
• Mark and moderate pupils' work.
• Provide a stimulating learning environment.
• Write reports and maintain records.
• Provide consultation for pupils and parents.
• Participate in professional learning programs.
• Develop and implement teaching strategies aligned with policy.
• Lead field work and plan lessons.
• Cover for colleagues when needed.
• Attend parents’ evenings and school events.
• Contribute to extracurricular life of the school.
