Job summary

Teach Now is seeking a Geography Teacher in St Albans to join a thriving secondary school. This part-time, permanent position (0.5–0.6 FTE) starts January 2027 and offers a supportive department with six Geography teachers and a Humanities lead.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging Geography lessons, develop students' knowledge and enquiry skills, and adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs while maintaining high expectations for behaviour.

Location: St Albans, Hertfordshire

Salary: £35,602–£54,328 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications, pro rata for part-time

Contract: Part-time, permanent (0.5–0.6 FTE)
