Job summary

Unique School Solutions are supporting a large secondary school in Sheffield for a Geography teacher on maternity cover starting 2 November 2026.

You will need Qualified Teacher Status and strong subject knowledge, with the ability to engage and motivate students throughout the learning process.

The role is term-time only, 35.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with pay via PAYE through the in-house payroll.

£175.00 – £241.00 per day

Start date: 2nd November 2026

Contract type: Maternity cover

Working hours: Monday – Friday, term time only, 35.5 hours a week

Unique School Solutions are supporting a large Secondary school in Sheffield. They are needing a Teacher of Geography cover a maternity leave from November 2026, for a year.

You must possess a track record of successful teaching practice, underpinned by strong subject knowledge. In addition, we are seeking candidates with highly developed communication and organisation skills combined with the ability to engage, enthuse and motivate the students to achieve their potential.
