Vision for Education Ltd is seeking an enthusiastic Geography Teacher for a high-performing East London secondary school in Newham. The role covers Geography across Key Stage 3, with potential to support KS4. Start date is January 2027; November 2026 is noted in the description.

You will plan engaging lessons, assess pupil progress, and collaborate with the Humanities department to maintain high standards of teaching and pupil conduct. DBS checks and safeguarding remain essential.

Position: Geography Teacher

Location: Newham

Start Date: November 2026

A high-performing and welcoming secondary school in East London is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Geography Teacher to join its successful Humanities department from November 2026

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire a love of geography and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 only. The ability to teach Key Stage 3 & 4 would be advantageous but is not essential.

The role

The successful candidate will have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for geography.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
