Job summary

Connex Education are supporting a mainstream secondary school in Leeds in appointing a Geography specialist for a September start. The role is full time on a long term basis (32.5 hours per week, term time only), with potential for permanent appointment.

The successful candidate will deliver the full timetable, hold QTS, and have a current DBS or be willing to obtain one. Excellent CPD and progression opportunities are available through Connex Education.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a classroom environment or similar setting.
• Current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one.
• QTS holder with Geography/Humanities specialism.

About the role

About the schools

We are currently working with a number of Secondary Schools that require a Geography Teacher on a longer term basis. The schools are open to a Humanities Teacher who has taught Geography before for at least 1 full term.

Both roles have permanent options for the right candidate.

Assignment details

The role is full time on a long term (32.5 hours per week, term time only) on an ongoing basis. You will be required to undertake the full responsibilities and timetable of a full time teacher.
