Job summary

The Education Specialists are recruiting a Secondary Geography Teacher for a well regarded secondary school in Knutsford, rated Good by Ofsted. This is a full-time, long-term role delivering KS3 and KS4 Geography.

Expect a supportive environment with strong leadership, and a competitive daily rate of £150–£250 depending on experience. PAYE paid weekly; AP/CPD opportunities and consultant support provided.

Qualifications

• QTS is required and must be current.
• Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 is essential.
• Ability to deliver lessons across subjects with geography focus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4.
• Adapt teaching to different classroom environments and pupil needs.
• Maintain engagement and behaviour in line with school policy.
• Provide feedback on pupil progress to staff and monitor wellbeing.

The Education Specialists are delighted to be working together with The Learning Partnership Trust recruiting a SecondaryGeography Teacher for a well regarded secondary school in Knutsford, rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

This is a full-time, long-term position, delivering lessons at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).

The school has a strong behaviour policy in place and a supportive senior leadership team, making it an excellent environment for a Secondary Geography Teacher looking for a consistent role in Knutsford.

Secondary GeographyTeacher role requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
• Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply through The Education Specialists

The successful Secondary Geography Teacher will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects
• Adapt teaching to suit different classroom environments
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Ensure pupils remain engaged and on task
• Provide feedback to teaching staff on pupil progress and behaviour
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
