Position: Geography Teacher
Location: Hull
Salary: M1 to UPS3 (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025

Role Overview:

As a Geography Teacher, you will be instrumental in delivering engaging and high-quality lessons that inspire students. You’ll work with a supportive team of educators to create a stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and critical thinking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and inclusive geography lessons tailored to a range of abilities.
  • Encourage student participation in extracurricular geography-related activities and fieldwork.
  • Monitor student progress, provide feedback, and adapt teaching methods to support individual learning needs.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in all activities.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A minimum of two years of verifiable references, including your most recent academic role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for inspiring students and promoting a love of geography.
  • Additional qualifications or training in geography education are desirable but not essential.
