Job summary

GSL Education Lincoln Branch is seeking a knowledgeable Geography Teacher to work in Grimsby across key stages. You will deliver engaging lessons in physical and human geography, developing students' knowledge and analytical abilities while using varied resources and assessments.

Qualified teachers with QTS or equivalent are welcome to apply, with DBS on update service preferred. The role offers both full-time and part-time options and flexible day-to-day or long-term placements through GSL

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent required.
• Strong understanding of the Geography curriculum.
• Previous experience teaching Geography is desirable.
• Ability to communicate geographical concepts clearly across different ability levels.
• Effective planning, assessment, communication, and classroom management skills.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).

GSL Education Lincoln Branch are recruiting knowledgeable and engaging Geography Teacher to work with excellent schools in Grimsby. We would like to hear from qualified educators who can bring geographical concepts to life, encourage curiosity about the wider world, and develop learners’ ability to investigate, interpret, and evaluate geographical information.

The Geography Teacher will deliver stimulating lessons across physical and human geography, helping students build subject knowledge while strengthening their analytical, investigative, and critical-thinking skills.

Geography Teacher Responsibilities:
