Prospero Teaching is working with a large secondary school in Cardiff that is seeking a full-time, temporary Geography teacher to start after the half-term break in February and continue until the end of the academic year. The successful candidate will teach Geography to Key Stage 3 & 4 classes with varying academic abilities.
Responsibilities include delivering engaging and challenging lessons, marking student work, providing regular feedback, attending departmental meetings, and being available for parents' evenings as required.
This role is open to ECTs and fully qualified teachers with QTS.
Applicants should have secondary school teaching experience, either permanently or supply, and be committed to the role for its entirety. Training in safeguarding, prevent awareness, behaviour management, and FGM will be provided if needed, with certificates issued within the last year or three years as applicable.
