This is an excellent opportunity for an inspiring teacher to join a supportive department and contribute to the delivery of a broad and engaging Geography curriculum.

Role Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities at Key Stage 5.
  • Inspiring students to develop a love of Geography and achieve their full potential.
  • Assessing, monitoring, and tracking pupil progress, providing targeted support where required.
  • Creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment that caters to students of all abilities.
  • Contributing to departmental planning, enrichment activities, and whole-school initiatives.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Geography within a UK secondary school setting.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching Geography.
  • Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
  • An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
