Job Overview

This role is ideal for a Geography Graduate or someone with data analysis experience seeking full-time permanent work in the Water sector.

Our client offers an excellent opportunity for a Graduate Engineer/Technician to analyze flow data, report findings, and ensure all internal and external KPI's are met.

This position is suited for a graduate eager to start their career in the Water sector or candidates with report writing and analysis experience looking to advance their career.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Initiate projects in the Data Office.
  2. Meet project deadlines according to client specifications.
  3. Perform data/flow editing and analysis to identify issues.
  4. Record and monitor the status of equipment to ensure optimal output.
  5. Coordinate externally with client representatives.
  6. Coordinate internally with Data Supervisor, Team Leader, Project Managers, and Site Teams.
  7. Contribute to the improvement of current procedures and systems.
  8. Flexibility regarding work hours may be required.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or related water sector field.

  • Previous experience in water or flow monitoring technologies is advantageous but not essential.
  • Presentability, dependability, and clear communication skills.

Full in-house training will be provided. Experience within a similar environment is highly advantageous.
