Job summary

KPI Recruiting Ltd is seeking a Geography Graduate to join a college in the WF1 area, providing academic and classroom support for A Level Geography across Year 1 and Year 2. The role offers hands-on experience in Further Education and the chance to develop teaching-related skills.

You will work with experienced lecturers, assist with coursework, revision and assessment, and contribute to learning resources while building a strong foundation for a teaching career.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geography or closely related subject (essential).
• Strong subject knowledge and interest in A Level Geography.
• Genuine interest in pursuing a career in education.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of Year 1 and Year 2 A Level Geography
• Assisting experienced lecturers during classroom-based learning
• Providing additional academic support to students, including one-to-one and small-group support
• Supporting students with coursework, revision and examination preparation
• Helping students develop their understanding and application of geographical concepts
• Assisting with the preparation and development of high-quality learning resources
• Supporting lesson planning and programme preparation
• Helping to monitor student progress, engagement and attendance
• Providing feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and areas requiring additional support
• Supporting the implementation of appropriate interventions for students
