Job summary

Norfolk Partnership Laboratory (NPL) invites applications for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join the Norwich team. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a salary starting at £37,241.45 per annum, negotiable based on experience.

You will design, implement and consult on geoenvironmental investigations, analyse findings, produce reports and CAD drawings, and help develop proposals including costs and schedules for external clients.

Qualifications

• Geoenvironmental engineering knowledge with field and office experience.
• Strong report writing skills with clear recommendations.
• Chartered status desirable; membership of a professional body preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyse findings and compose reports for Lead Engineer review.
• Develop proposals, determine costs and schedules for investigations.
• Enter data using geotechnical software to produce logs and outputs.
• Prepare CAD drawings for investigations, design and reporting.
