Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a GEO Process Engineer to lead site-based process engineering projects at our Wrexham site, driving continuous improvement and resolving manufacturing issues while supporting initiatives at other sites as needed.

You will drive productivity, lead major product and process re-sites, support scale-up from trials to industrialization, and implement robust corrective actions with root-cause analysis, capital project execution, and equipment commissioning.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in aerospace, web-handling, resin-mix, coating, or fiber (one or more).
  • Fluent English (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of JMP and understanding of quality systems (ISO 9001 / AS9100) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%, mostly within Europe.

Responsibilities

We are looking for:

A GEO Process Engineer with a strong focus on leading site-based process engineering projects and activities at our Wrexham site to drive continuous improvement, resolve chronic manufacturing issues, and introduce or re-site products, while also providing support to selected initiatives at other sites as needed.

You will get:
  • The annual base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is GBP 51,440 to GBP 64,300. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, experience, qualification and internal equity and can ultimately be more or less than the posted salary range.
  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
