Geo-Environmental Technician

Location: Taunton

Reference: BY1855

Salary: £24,000 – £27,000

Are you a recent graduate with a degree in geology, geoscience, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering, geography, or earth science? This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a team and gain experience in the ground investigation industry, developing skills to kickstart your career.

The successful Geo-Environmental Technician will be responsible for:

  1. Taking soil samples for assessment.
  2. Monitoring groundwater and gases.
  3. Conducting contamination analysis and soakaway testing.
  4. Performing groundwork and assisting geotechnical engineers on various projects.
  5. Working outdoors in all weather conditions, with physical tasks including lifting and heavy-duty work.
