Are you an experienced Geo-Environmental Engineer looking to take the next step in your career? Do you have a passion for leading Phase 2 site investigations across the UK? If so, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing consultancy dedicated to delivering high-quality geotechnical and environmental solutions.

The Role

We are seeking a junior Geo-Environmental Engineer with experience in site investigation contracting or consultancy. In this role, you will take an active lead in project managing Phase 2 site investigations, overseeing site works, and ensuring high technical standards are met. You will work on diverse projects across the UK, with occasional overnight stays.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and supervising geo-environmental Phase 2 site investigations.
  • Conducting soil logging and sampling in accordance with BS5930.
  • Preparing interpretative geotechnical and environmental reports.
  • Overseeing remediation works and validation processes.
  • Collaborating with clients and contractors to deliver efficient project outcomes.

What We're Looking For

  • A degree in Environmental Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field (MSc).
  • Strong technical knowledge of site investigation techniques and contaminated land assessments.
  • Experience in geotechnical interpretation is desirable.
  • A full UK driving license is essential.
