Abatec is assisting a highly regarded South West based Civil Engineering contractor with the recruitment of a Geo-Environmental Technician. Our client, specialising in bulk earthworks and remediation, is recruiting a Geo-Environmental Technician who has, ideally, worked previously in this sector.

As Geo-Environmental Technician, you will:

• Be able to read and interpret earthwork specifications.
• Be responsible for managing geoenvironmental and geotechnical data sets.
• Review data against specifications.
• Liaise with external testing houses
• Be responsible for record keeping, scheduling testing, and in-house sampling.

Our client requires a Geo-Environmental Technician with:

• HND/Degree in Geotechnical, Environmental or related discipline
• CIWM (WAMITAB) would be considered
• CSCS card preferred
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
• Full UK driving licence

Salary and benefits include:

• Up to GBP32,000 per annum
• Company vehicle and fuel card
