Geo-Environmental Engineer

An opportunity has come available for a Geo-Environmental Engineer in the Wigan area to gain exposure in delivering ground engineering projects throughout its full cycle, within a multi-disciplinary environment.

This Geo-Environmental Engineer role will involve both site work and office deliverables which include all aspects of project management and technical reporting.

Geo-Environmental Engineer Responsibilities include:

• Management of all site/ground investigation works (locally)
• Helping draft phase 1 & 2 reports
• Remediation methods
• Risk assessments
• Foundation design/recommendations
• Validation works

Geo-Environmental Engineer Experience Requires:

• Degree in a relevant geology/environmental science or engineering discipline
• At least 12 months Ground investigation experience in the UK.
• Ideally some reporting experience although this role provides training.
• Commutable distance from Wigan.
• Driving license
