Job summary

We’re looking for a proactive Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our growing team in London, working on a diverse range of development and regeneration projects to identify environmental risks and deliver practical, sustainable solutions.

You’ll conduct Phase I and Phase II site assessments, assess soil and groundwater contamination, prepare high-quality technical reports and liaise

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Science, Geology or related discipline.
• 3+ years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land.
• Good knowledge of UK environmental regulations and contaminated land guidance.
• Experience with site investigation techniques, environmental sampling and data interpretation.
• Strong technical report writing skills and excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Environmental Site Assessments - Conduct Phase I and Phase II assessments, including desk studies and ground investigations.
• Contamination Assessment - Assess soil and groundwater contamination, identify pollutant linkages and undertake environmental risk assessments.
• Technical Reporting - Prepare high-quality technical reports, including contamination assessments, remediation strategies and supporting documentation.
• Project Delivery - Work alongside senior consultants and project managers to deliver projects safely, efficiently, on time and within budget.
• Client & Stakeholder Engagement - Liaise with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure projects meet environmental regulations and industry best practice.
