RPS is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our environment team as an apprentice. The role can be based in Bristol, Abingdon, London, or Manchester. It is suitable for someone interested in geology and contaminated land, with a balance of office and site work, including travel.
We will support the successful candidate through a relevant environmental degree course, paid for by RPS, undertaken part-time (block release for 6-10 weeks annually) over five years. The rest of the time, the apprentice will support geo-environmental teams with environmental and geotechnical investigations, monitoring programs, audits, and related activities.
During your apprenticeship, RPS will assign a mentor and provide opportunities to learn from various technical experts in areas such as ground investigation, soil and rock logging, risk assessments, desk studies, and more.
