Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Consultant – REMOTE

Salary: £27,000 – £32,000.

A specialist geo-environmental and geotechnical consultancy based near Winchester are seeking an eager Geo-Environmental/Geotechnical specialist to join their team on a variety of new projects. The company is equipped with 15 years of expertise and an expert team of consultants to support you in your career development, offer progression within the company and enhance your skills.

As a Geo-Environmental / Geotechnical Consultant you’ll be offered a remote set-up, working predominantly on Phase 1 Desktop Studies, writing and reviewing factual and interpretive reports and developing remediation strategies and geotechnical designs. You’ll be required to liaise closely with clients and train junior members of the team.

The Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Consultant selected will be provided with:

Therefore, the Geo-Environmental and Geotechnical Consultant successful in their application will:

  • Have experience as a geotechnical/geo-environmental engineer or consultant, with a competency to complete reports without assistance.
  • Have a degree in geology, geoscience, environmental engineering, environmental science, earth science or a similar subject.
  • You must hold a clean and valid UK Driving licence.
  • Be comfortable working remotely and travelling to the Winchester area occasionally.
  • A full right to work in the UK is also essential.
