Job summary

ProGroup Recruitment is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to join our growing team covering South Wales and surrounding areas. You will be responsible for installation, commissioning and fault-finding of fire alarm systems, with a focus on Gent panels.

The role offers an 8:30–17:00 schedule, travel between sites, company vehicle and tools provided, and overtime paid at time and a half on weekdays and double time on Sundays. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years' experience within the fire alarm industry.
Proven experience installing and commissioning Gent fire alarm systems.
Strong understanding of fire alarm regulations and standards.
Full UK driving licence.
Ideally based within South Wales for easy access to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Installation, commissioning and basic fault-finding of fire alarm systems.
Predominantly working on Gent fire alarm panels, with some Advanced panels.
Working across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout South Wales.
Ensuring all work is completed to current industry standards and client requirements.
Occasional weekend work as part of a planned rota.
