Job summary

Progroup Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to cover South Wales and surrounding areas, with a focus on Gent fire alarm systems in commercial and industrial sites. You will install, commission and fault-find Gent systems, primarily on Gent panels with some Advanced panels, ensuring compliance with current standards; weekend rota may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in the fire alarm industry.
• Proven experience installing and commissioning Gent fire alarm systems.
• Gent Basic qualification is essential.
• Strong understanding of fire alarm regulations and standards.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and fault-find fire alarm systems.

• Travel across South Wales to customer sites.

We are currently seeking an experiencedFire Alarm Installation Engineerto join a growing team coveringSouth Wales and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong background in fire alarm installations, particularly onGentsystems.

The Role

• Installation, commissioning and basic fault-finding of fire alarm systems.


• Predominantly working onGent fire alarm panels, with someAdvancedpanels.


• Working across a range of commercial and industrial sites throughout South Wales.


• Ensuring all work is completed to current industry standards and client requirements.


• Occasional weekend work as part of a planned rota.

Requirements

• Minimum5 years' experiencewithin the fire alarm industry.


• Proven experience installing and commissioningGent fire alarm systems.


• Gent Basic qualificationis essential.


• Strong understanding of fire alarm regulations and standards.


• Full UK driving licence.


• Ideally based within South Wales for easy access to customer sites.

Package

• Salary of£38,000 - £40,000, depending on experience and ability.


• Standard working hours of08:30 - 17:00, with flexibility to start and finish earlier when required.


• Travel time paid outside of the first 30 minutes each way.


• Overtime paid at:




• Time & a halffor labour Monday to Saturday.


• Double timeon Sundays.
