Job summary

Join Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) welcomes an Apprentice Administrative Assistant to join the North West Genomic Laboratory Hub in Liverpool. You will be self-motivated, work well in a team, prioritise workload and communicate effectively while upholding the Trust's values and behaviours.

The role is initially a fixed-term apprenticeship with potential permanency upon successful completion of the programme. DBS checks and adherence to eligibility criteria apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivery of Laboratory Genetics Service through defined admin tasks.
• Be main point of contact for service users, answering calls and emails.
• Dispatch letters and clinical reports by post or email.
• Archive/scan paper referrals and reports.
• Provide general administrative duties within the team.
• Collaborate with department to ensure reliable service.
