Job description

Genito Urinary Medicine Training Programme Director

We are looking to recruit for the position of Genito Urinary Medicine Training Programme Director.

All applicants must already work within Genito Urinary Medicine in a Thames Valley Trust.

This role involves 1 hour per week, with an annual salary of £2,500.

The Training Programme Director will work with the Head of School to lead various functions aligned with the NHS England mandate.

Note: NHSE is expected to merge into DHSC by 31/10/2026, which may affect the role's duration and future appointments. Further arrangements will be communicated as the new structure becomes clearer.

Main duties of the role

The Training Programme Director reports professionally and managerially to the Head of School. Responsibilities include improving learner supervision, assessment, engagement of faculty, and ensuring effective educational outcomes. The role will also focus on workforce transformation and multi-professional collaboration.
