Generic Therapy Technical Instructor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Therapy support worker to join our large, innovative community-based team working across Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland as part of our children's Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy team.

The role involves providing high-standard care support for patients within the Children's community Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy service. You will perform skilled and specialized support tasks, including clinical techniques of a higher level, to assess and treat patients with complex conditions in various settings.

You will work independently with patients, delivering treatments, managing equipment reviews, reporting progress to registered staff, and raising concerns appropriately. Collaboration as a team member is essential, including delegation, supervision, and development of Band 3 Therapy Support workers, as well as attending in-service training programs.

The role requires access to a car and a full driving license with business use insurance.
