An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Therapy Team working across the Emergency Department and AMU to support patients transition from hospital to home as a generic Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy technician. We are looking for a skilled, organised and enthusiastic individual to join our established and friendly, integrated team.
Key aspects of the role include working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to undertake specific clinical/therapy based assessments, interventions, home assessments/sessions, provide adaptive equipment, support patients to remain in their own home, avoid hospital admission as well as administrative and supportive tasks.
You will also need to have excellent time management and prioritisation skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.This post is advertised as Welsh Desirable at Level 3 Speaking/Listening (or 'B1' Level if you've learnt Welsh as an adult). This doesn't mean you have to be fluent or able to write long reports in Welsh; it just means being able to hold simple conversations with patients.
