The Role

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Generic Specialist Practitioner - Nurse Specialist - Substance Misuse Liaison based at University Hospital Hairmyres.

The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary/multiagency team, managing a specialist caseload, using evidence-based and client-centered practices to assess, plan, and deliver care. They will provide expert advice, support, and operate within their specialty across NHS Lanarkshire. Responsibilities include contributing to clinical audits and research, supervising and educating team members, and providing leadership within their scope of practice.

What you'll need to bring
  • Registered Nurse or Allied Health Professional (AHP) with valid NMC/HCPC registration

Location & Working Pattern

This role is based in Substance Misuse Liaison at University Hospital Hairmyres, working Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts.
