Job summary

KAP Technical Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle & Equipment Technician with a strong background in generator repair, diesel engines and power systems. You will diagnose faults, service and repair across a range of power generation units and heavy equipment to keep them safe and reliable.

The role covers preventative maintenance, fault finding and complex electrical/mechanical repairs, with emphasis on safety, quality and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' hands-on experience with generators, heavy diesel engines or power systems.
• NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical/Heavy Plant or Automotive Maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics & repairs on diesel engines, APUs and generators.
• Mechanical servicing, component replacement and engine overhauls.
