Job description

Job description
The successful candidate will play a key role in the servicing, maintenance, repair and testing of our extensive hire fleet. Working from the client depot, you'll ensure the equipment remains at the high standard our customers expect. You will also be involved in any on-site service and maintenance as and when required. This will all be dependent on job locations, throughout Aberdeen and Shire, as well as further afield.

This is a permanent, full-time role, working Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:00, with a 30-minute lunch break. You will also be included in our On-Call Rota providing technical support and customer service, out of hours.
  • Maintaining and repairing hire fleet and customer generators
  • Perform minor and major service and repairs
  • Preparing equipment for hire, including load testing.
  • Supporting both technical and office team as required
  • Ensure work areas are kept tidy, clean and organized
  • Delivery and Collection of equipment as and when required
  • Taking part in the on-call Rota, providing customer support 24/7, 365 days a year.
Job requirements
  • Experience with Diesel Generators with a background of repair and maintenance
  • Electrical systems and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify required parts to facilitate efficient repairs.
  • Proficiency in using power tools and other equipment.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment under pressure.
  • General Fabrication and welding skills
  • Other mechanical backgrounds, such as plant or HGV will be considered
  • Full, clean UK driving license with the ability to tow trailers.
  • Mechanical background.
  • Electrical background.
  • Strong team player with the ability to work independently.
