Workshop Based - Generator Engineer

Location: Surrey/Hampshire area

  • Basic Salary up to £37,440
  • OTE £44,000 + uncapped
  • 40 Hours per week
  • Large Plant Equipment & Generator Dealer

Our client, one of the world’s largest suppliers of Construction & Industrial Machinery, is seeking a Workshop Based Generator Engineer in the Aldershot area.

With nearly 30 years in the industry, they serve a large customer base ranging from small businesses to major international organizations, providing equipment for construction, agriculture, and other applications.

Duties of the Workshop Generator Engineer:
  • Investigate and resolve technical problems
  • Service various machines on-site
  • Troubleshoot and solve problems independently
  • Complete job cards promptly and accurately within deadlines
  • Submit paperwork and timesheets on time
  • Request parts efficiently
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Build and maintain good relationships with customers
  • Supervise apprentices when required, ensuring quality and safety
  • Follow procedures when repairing and inspecting equipment
  • Ensure all work and equipment meet safety standards
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Adhere to health and safety policies
  • Keep tools safe and legal for use
What we expect from our Workshop Generator Engineers:
