Job summary

Virtual Connect Solutions is seeking a senior data scientist to translate business challenges into AI-driven solutions. You will conduct EDA, design and evaluate ML/DL/GenAI models, and develop RAG pipelines for production systems.

The role requires strong Python/SQL skills, experience with ML frameworks, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams across cloud platforms to deliver scalable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and Python data science ecosystem.
• Experience building predictive, classification, optimization, and statistical models on structured/unstructured data.
• Understanding of Generative AI, LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, and evaluation techniques.
• Experience with model deployment, monitoring, testing, and productionization.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients and stakeholders to translate business challenges into analytical and AI-driven solutions.
• Perform EDA to identify trends, insights, and opportunities.
• Design, build, train, and evaluate ML, DL, and Generative AI models.
• Develop and optimize RAG pipelines and LLM-based applications.
• Define model evaluation frameworks, conduct A/B testing, monitor performance and drift.
• Deploy data science solutions through APIs, batch pipelines, and cloud platforms.
• Optimize model inference, scalability, latency, and cost.
• Build explainable, responsible AI with minimized bias and reliability.
• Collaborate with data engineers, software engineers, product managers, and designers to productionize solutions.
• Present insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.
• Contribute to internal innovation, research projects, and thought leadership.
