MPA Ballymena are partnering with a leading foodservice distribution company, currently expanding operations in Northern Ireland.

This is a temp to perm contract and your chance to join a growing team at the forefront of innovation, service, and efficiency. We are looking for reliable and driven individuals for evening and night shift roles to play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the distribution centre

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently select and load orders within various temperature-controlled environments (Dry, Chilled, Freezer).
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of order selection in line with engineered productivity standards.
• Label, stack, and shrink-wrap products according to procedures.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g. electric pallet trucks, LLOPs, forklifts).
• Conduct inventory checks and maintain integrity of stock.
• Keep the warehouse clean, safe, and hygienic in compliance with HACCP policies.
• Report any damages, accidents, or food safety issues immediately.
• Adhere to Health and Safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Build and maintain good relationships with team members.
• Perform equipment inspections and maintain equipment safely.
• Load/unload trucks and operate loading bays following proper procedures.

Essential Requirements:

• Flexibility to work variable shifts/start times as required by business needs.
• Previous experience in an FMCG warehouse environment, particularly in order selection.
• Ability to work in multi-temperature zones (dry, chilled, freezer).
• Competence in operating MHE (e.g., power pallet trucks, LLOPs, forklifts).
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the operation.
• A proactive approach with a strong commitment to health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Hours and Pay

• Working Days: Sunday to Friday
• Shift Start Times: Between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM
• Shift End Times: Between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM
• £13.37 per hour-Additional 12% for night allowance
