We are now recruiting for General Warehouse Operatives with a Reach Truck Licence to join our team at Great Bear Sheffield on a full-time and permanent basis.

Job Description

Shift: Sunday-Thursday and Monday-Friday, 22:00-06:00.

Salary: £12.84 per hour + £1.00 per night premium.

Overtime: Paid at x 1.5 after 37.5 hours per week.

• A Reach Truck Licence is essential for this role; we will consider an in-house Licence.
• Pick stock and orders from set locations within the warehouse.
• Loading customer pallets onto trailers using MHE.
• Ensure the correct amount of product is picked.
• Maintain high levels of Health & Safety at all times.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain good communication with Team Leaders and Managers.
• Monitor and maintain the required housekeeping standards.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines, reporting issues to Team Leaders and Managers.
• Report damages and operate MHE equipment in accordance with procedures.

Qualifications

• A Reach Truck Licence is essential; in-house licences will be considered.
• 2 years of experience operating a Reach Truck.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-moving environment.
• Operate all required MHE to meet operational needs.
• Reasonable verbal and numerical reasoning skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Adaptable to training.
• Conscientious and reliable.
• Positive working attitude.
