Job Description

Looking for a better work-life balance without sacrificing full-time hours? We’re recruiting reliable Warehouse Operatives to join an established printing company, offering a four-day working week and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

You’ll be joining a friendly, close-knit team in a hands-on warehouse environment, helping prepare printed products and customer orders for dispatch. If you’re organised, hardworking and enjoy keeping busy, this could be the ideal opportunity.

You’ll play an important part in the day-to-day running of the warehouse, ensuring printed products and customer orders are prepared accurately and ready for dispatch.

Your duties will include picking and packing printed products and materials, building and assembling boxes for customer orders, checking stock levels and replenishing supplies.

You’ll also be responsible for preparing finished orders for dispatch, maintaining a clean and organised working environment and supporting colleagues with general warehouse duties.

Accuracy and efficiency will be important, as you’ll need to ensure orders are completed correctly and within the required timeframes.

Duration: This position will initially be offered on a temporary basis, with a genuine temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

Contract Type: Temporary

Hourly Rate: The position pays £12.71 per hour, with the opportunity to accrue up to 28 days’ annual leave pro rata.

Working Hours: You’ll work Monday to Thursday, 07:00–17:30, giving you every Friday off and a three-day weekend every week.

Experience & Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience would be advantageous, although a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.

You’ll need good attention to detail, the ability to work accurately and efficiently and confidence carrying out a variety of warehouse duties.

Reliability, a strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively within a small team are essential.
