Job description

A brilliant primary school, based in Sale (M33), are seeking an enthusiastic and engaging Teaching Assistant to support their year 3 class.

The role is for general classroom support, helping the teacher deliver the national curriculum to the students. The ideal candidate will be adaptable to the needs of the classroom, supporting students in groups and one to one. Experience working with SEN students is preferred, but it’s not a requirement.

The school are looking for someone who is:
  1. Adaptable and able to resolve issues throughout the day
  2. Up to date with the current national curriculum
  3. Great at managing behaviour
  4. Excellent numeracy/literacy skills
  5. Relevant experience in a classroom setting

The school itself is rated “outstanding” by OFSTED framework and is comprised of three forms.
