Job summary

Cambian Group's Spring Hill School in Ripon, North Yorkshire, is seeking a General Teacher Outdoor Learning to guide students aged 8-19 in a specialist residential SEN setting. The role is 22.2 hours per week, term time, with a salary of £20,810.40 plus SEN allowance £1,325.40 per annum.

You will deliver a bespoke curriculum, teach across KS2-5 in small classes, and enrich learning through outdoor activities and horticulture, while supporting behaviour management and multidisciplinary

Qualifications

General Teacher Outdoor Learning

Spring Hill School, Ripon, North Yorks.

Salary: £20,810.40 + SEN Allowance of £1325.40 per annum

We have an opportunity for a dedicated and flexible General Teacher Outdoor Learning to join our specialist residential SEN School and Children’s Home for students aged 8-19 with Autism, SEMH and associated learning difficulties.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about the teaching profession and has the drive and vision to deliver a high-quality service. We offer a bespoke curriculum with teaching taking place in small classes, or on individual educational programmes tailored to the needs each learner.

The main purpose of the role is to be responsible for the learning and achievement of all students in the class/es ensuring equality of opportunity for all, particularly in relation to enrichment opportunities such as outdoor learning/horticulture

You should be:

Spring Hill School

Cambian Spring Hill School is a 38 - 52 week residential and day school for children and young people aged 8-19 with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, associated challenging behaviours, learning and communication difficulties and complex needs.

The school is situated in Ripon, North Yorkshire, with 30 acres of beautiful grass and woodland; our rural campus offers children and young people the peace and tranquillity to thrive physically and emotionally in addition to developing their levels of independence, resilience and academic competence.
