Job summary

NHS Grampian is seeking a Clinical Fellow (ST3) in General Surgery based at Dr Grey’s Hospital, Elgin. The post covers General Surgery and Orthopaedics with out-of-hours cross-cover, including day and night shifts for adult emergencies.

A GMC licence to practise must be in place before starting, and MRCS is required along with UK-based surgical experience. The role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive team in a region renowned for its outdoor beauty and recreational options.

Qualifications

• MRCS qualification and GMC registration are required.
• UK-based experience in General Surgery is essential.
• GMC licence to practise must be in place before starting.

Responsibilities

• Cover General Surgery and Orthopaedics out of hours as cross cover.
• Provide day and night shifts in the department at Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin.
• Participate in on-call postings and respond to adult emergencies as required.
