Job Opportunity: Casual General Service Assistant at Aramark UK

Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a Casual General Service Assistant to join our team at the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, GU15 4PQ. This role involves front-of-house responsibilities, supporting daily operations by serving food and beverages, handling till operations, cleaning dining areas, and assisting both front and back of house areas. Providing excellent customer service and reporting to the on-site General Manager are key aspects of this role.

• A zero-hour, casual position with flexible shifts across five days, including two weekends per month. Shift times range from 6 am to 11 pm. Please note, as this is a zero-hour contract, hours are not guaranteed during quieter periods.

A Day in the Life of a General Service Assistant

• Serving food and beverages, adhering to health and safety protocols, and delivering outstanding customer service
• Performing basic cold food preparation and made-to-order services, including hot and cold offers
• Handling bookings and payments
• Performing barista duties, waiting tables, washing dishes, and general cleaning
• Stock management, rotation, cleaning, and maintaining dining and serving areas
• Operating the till, processing payments, and upselling products

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Previous customer-facing or food service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must have the right to work in the UK and have resided in the UK for more than three years. Security checks are required.
