Job description

As an SEN Teacher, you will take a creative approach to teaching pupils according to their educational needs, ensuring delivery of the school curriculum in a way that maximises pupils’ achievement and ability to develop.

Main Purpose

  • Undertake the responsibilities of a class teacher
  • Attend teacher meetings as required
  • Perform duties delegated by SLT
  • Establish, maintain, and develop a calm and safe learning environment
  • Promote the emotional well-being of each pupil, reflecting our commitment to educating the ‘whole pupil’

Class Teacher Responsibilities

  • Carry out duties of a general class teacher, including cover for absent teachers
  • Teach across all key stages
