Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and driven General Sales Manager to lead our Sales team at our Cupra/Saat dealership in Sheffield. Reporting to the Head of Business, you will be responsible for leading, motivating, and developing the team to deliver the highest level of customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Assist the Head of Business in developing and implementing the customer and colleague journey, ensuring fairness and equity.
  2. Maximise sales volume and profitability of new and used cars, finance, and insurance products.
  3. Lead, coach, and develop the Sales team to improve performance and behaviors while achieving results.
  4. Set and strive to exceed site and departmental objectives.
  5. Maintain the highest level of customer service within the Sales department and wider dealership.
  6. Drive a high-performance team culture of excellence.
Qualifications
  • Experience in leading and developing high-performing teams to deliver results.
  • A customer-centric approach with a focus on exceeding customer expectations and fostering continuous improvement.
  • Interest or experience in e-commerce.
  • Understanding of current motor industry practices (desirable but not essential).
  • Drive and aspiration to excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and standards.
  • Valid driving license with no excessive penalties.
